China Medical “One Belt and One Road” "The Bridge between China & Vietnam" Project in 2016The project of “The Bridge Between China & Vietnam”has lasted for five years. Through the medical cooperation and academic exchanges without boarders, the minimally invasive urology techniques of Vietnam have developed rapidly and also the friendship between China and Vietnam have been promoted. Prof. Fu Fajun, Prof. Xiao Chunlei and Prof. Li Jun spare no effort to support and hands on training, currently, the technique of Micro-Channel Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (MPCNL) has been a major breakthrough. Lots of local urologists in Vietnam can perform MPCNL for multiple kidney stone independently.
Prof. Fu Fajun was invited to The Affiliated Hopistal of Hanoi Medical University to do the hands-on training on flexible Ureteroscope techniques. In order to master this advanced technology faster, Prof. Fu spent four days, hands on training on Flexible Ureteroscope techniques, two urologists in this hospital can complete flexible Ureteroscopy after this training. Through constant demonstration, explanation and validation by Prof. Fu Fajun, doctors can deep understanding of flexible Ureteroscopy techniques. Vietnam-German Hospital was celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year which is the Affiliated Hospital of Hanoi Medical University. This hospital was awarded national medal by the president of Vietnam, Mr. Chen Da Guang. Prof. Fu Fa Jun was invited to be an honorary Urology Specialist in Hanoi Medical University Hospital. He was honored of his selfless dedication and spare no effort in the project of ‘‘The Bridge Between China & Vietnam’ in the last five years.
