The Friendship Bridge Between China and Vietnam 2015The Friendship Bridge Between China and Vietnam 2015 Minimally Invasive Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (MPCNL) Academic Exchanges From April 4th to 10th, 2015, Professor Do Truong Thanh, Director of Urology Department of Viet Duc Hospital which is the largest surgery hospital in Vietnam, visited three hospitals in China for academic exchanges. Viet Duc Hospital with 110 years of history has the highest medical technology in Vietnam, whose Urology Department is the center of the northern and central of Vietnam.Currently, Viet Duc Hospital Urology Department has more than 100 beds, 15 urologists and more than 4000 operations per year.
Professor Do Truong Thanh visited Xiangya Hospital, Changsha Central Hospital and First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University. He had face-to-face communications with Professor Chen Hequn, Professor Fu Fajun, Professor Zhang Xiaobo and Professor Zhuo Yumin, also observed live operations demonstrated by these famous urologists in China. This academic activity focused on the development and application of PCNL and Flexible ureteroscope. The MPCNL technology under B ultrasound guidance, which after a long-term exploration and verification by Chinese urologists, receives more and more acceptance by international urology. MPCNL technology uses common ureteroscope and 16 Fr or 18 Fr micro-channel, it allows urologists to carry out this technology only with ureteroscope instruments, reduce the probability of bleeding as much as possible. 9 operations were demonstrated in this academic exchange, Accu-Tech team of technical experts shared the method and technique of PCNL and flexible ureteroscopy meticulously.
